How to use Ibotta this week at Fred Meyer (step by step instructions)
This week Fred Meyer's has Cottonelle toilet paper 6 mega rolls on sale for $4.99 each when you buy 2 packs. I wanted to show you how to get $1 back on each pack by using Ibotta. I will list step by step instructions below....
Step 1: Buy 2 packs of Cottonelle Toilet paper 6 mega rolls for $4.99 each = $9.98
print 2 coupons for .55/1 here = $8.88
Step 2: After purchasing the toilet paper make sure to keep your receipt. Now open your Ibotta app. (If you do not have this app click here to download it now).
Step 3: You will see a list of retailers you can go to the grocery category and click on Fred Meyer.
Step 4: Scroll over until you are on the household category and you should see this same offer for Cottonelle for $1 back (amount may vary per each Ibotta account as not everyone has the exact same offers. This is the offer I see in my account.) Make sure you click on the circle with a red + on it to select this offer. You'll then see a green circle with a check mark like in the picture below.
Step 5: You can click on the offer to see all the details. It will also have a button at the bottom that says check product barcode. You can actually click this feature and scan your pack of toilet paper to make sure you have the right one. If you do it will say item matched. This offer says must be a 6 ct. pack or larger and you can redeem it 5 times on 1 receipt. Which means it will give you a $1 back for each pack up to 5 packs. So if you were to buy 4 packs you'd get $4 back .
Step 6: Click on this phone/receipt icon that says REDEEM and it will pull up this message asking you to take a picture of your receipt. Click continue and then you will take a picture of your receipt. You can add multiple sections of your receipt if it's long. Just remember they need to read the name of the store and the date.
Step 7: After you submit the picture of your receipt it will it should say it has found one offer and pull up the cottonelle offer for you. You should see a plus sign (+) next to it. If you buy 2 packs make sure you select quantity 2. It may then have you scan the barcode on each pack of Cottonelle to make sure you really bought 2 packs. After that you click submit. I usually see a paper airplane after this telling me my earnings are pending.
Step 8: When your receipt is reviewed and accepted it will notify you that you've just earned $2 back at Fred Meyer. This can take up to 24 hours.
-You will pay $8.88 (plus tax) out of pocket then get $2 back from Ibotta = 2/$6.88
This makes them $3.44 each!
