What can I feed my family of 4 for .99 cents??

-Did you stock up on Libby's corn last week when it was .25 cents @ Albertson's?? Well if you did here is a easy yummy recipe you may want to try...

5 Can Chicken Tortilla Soup: Dump all these cans in a crock pot and serve over/with tortilla chips. I like to add some shredded cheese and sour cream to mine as well. Yum!! Healthy & delicious...

I love this recipe because all you need is a can opener and crock pot :) :) Is this a "healthy recipe"?? All the cans of the products I used say all natural so let's see how healthy they really are....

Libby's Corn

Swanson Broth

Muir Glen Diced Tomatoes

Valley Fresh Chicken... Looks healthy to me & my kids love it :)

*The best part is my total cost for this whole meal is only .99 cents!!!
(I got the tomatoes & beans for FREE, the chicken was .64 cents w/doublers, the corn .25 cents @ alberstons, and the broth .10 cents w/coupon & price match)

Easy Smoothie Recipe

Easy Healthy Smoothie

-This smoothie cost me next to nothing to make using items I had on hand and items I got with coupons. I used 1/2 banana, some frozen strawberries, 1 cups of Yoplait Greek Vanilla Yogurt, and some Coconut Milk and blended them all together in my bullet.

*I got the bananas free this week @ Albertsons for buying Quaker Oatmeal, the Greek Yogurt cups for .09 cents doing the round up, the coconut milk free using doublers (not this week) and the strawberries from my freezer (free from this summer in garden).

Dinner for my family of 5 for just $1.58!

Dinner for 5 just $1.58!
-Around Thanksgiving week I was able to get a whole Butterball Turkey Breast Roast for $1.33 so I thawed it out overnight and baked it for dinner tonight, it was delicious! We had the turkey with broccoli rice (got for FREE with doublers) and Libby's Green Beans (got for .25 cents w/doublers). I only paid $1.58 for the whole meal and it was delicious and we had leftovers.
(I also got the spices free (w/coupons), carrots for FREE w/Earthbound coupon and my neighbor gave us a box of oranges.)

*You can get carrots for FREE this week @ Walmart click here to see how.

What can you eat if you only buy items using coupons??

*People always ask me if you can eat "real" or "healthy" food if you coupon, well the answer is YES. Here are some meals that we enjoyed this week. I got all the items (except the pears which were free from a relative) by using coupons.
Lunch: Tuna Fish with Fiber Wheat Thins, Veggie Chips, & canned pears

Dinner: 6 Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

*This was super easy to make I took 1 can of S&W Black Beans, 1 Can of Libby's Corn, 1 Can of Muir Glen Diced Tomatoes, 1 big can of Valley Fresh Chicken, and 1 can of Swanson Broth. I put it all in the crock pot on high for 4 hours. We topped it with shredded cheese and used tortilla chips to eat it with.
This is the recipe I used, it calls for 2 cans of broth but I like it thicker so I used only 1 can. You can serve over tortilla chips or use them to scoop it up. It was a hit at my house and so easy to make. I got all of these items using coupons so it was very inexpensive as well.

Dessert: Nutella Peanut Butter Oatmeal brownies

*I used a snack size Duncan Hines Brownie Mix (which I got for free) followed the instructions on box, then in a separate bowl I put a few scoops of Nutella & Creamy peanut butter in the microwave until smooth. I stirred it when smooth and added it to the brownie batter then added a scoop of oats. They turned out delicious, my family loved them as you can see from the picture. :)

Lunch: Flat bread Pizza

*I recently got some FREE flat bread from Albertsons so we used it to make these pizzas. All I did was spread some Ragu Garden Combo sauce on, shredded some cheese and let my kids add pepperoni (I added a few pineapple chunks to my side.) Baked them in the oven for 5 minutes. Super easy and delicious.

(My total cost into this meal is around .50 cents.)

Broccoli Salad Recipe

*Can you eat healthy if you coupon????    YES
I made broccoli salad for lunch today and was able to get the broccoli for FREE out of my garden and all other items using coupons. I got my turkey bacon at Ridley's last night using a .75/1 coupon and doubler, got my coleslaw dressing free, and craisins free by using overage from a coupon deal.

Broccoli Salad Recipe

-Fresh Broccoli
-Coleslaw Dressing
-Craisins
-Turkey Bacon
-Diced Apples

-Just rinse your broccoli and cut into pieces in bowl. Add as much coleslaw dressing as you like, I like to give it a little coat. Then add your cooked turkey bacon, craisins, and diced apples and stir. You can also add cut red/purple onions and sunflower kernels to it. I did not have these on hand so I used what I already had at home. I added a few diced apples on top this time and it was delicious, my husband loved it!
