My Walgreens Shopping Trip

Bought: 16 Items (I evened out to .88 cents per item)

-My first transaction went like this...

*I purchased 4 Jumbo Packs of Huggies Slip On Diapers (I had a raincheck for $9.49) my total came to $37.96. 

I used the $4/1 coupon in the Walgreens Coupon Booklet (available at Walgreens) which took a total of $16.00 off bringing my total down to $31.96. I then used 4 $1.50/1 mfg. coupons I got from my newspaper which took another $6.00 off bringing my total down to $35.96. 

I bought 2 sharpies for .39 cents each so I could use a $6 RR and a .99 cent RR bringing my grand total to $9.75! 

(I saved 92% on this transaction which means I only paid 7% of retail cost.)

 -My second transaction went like this...

*I bought 4 packs of Bic Comfort 3 Razors they were on sale for buy one @ $3.99 get 1 50% off I was able to use 4 of the ($3/1 coupons from SS-8/5) making them FREE! 

*I bought 2 Right Guard Total Defense 5 Deodorants on clearance for $2.24 (1 of them rang up at $1.12 because they are on sale for buy one get one 50% off) I used 2 $1/1 coupons making them $1.36 for both. (My husband was getting low and this is his favorite kind.)

*The Gillette Disposable Razors are on sale buy one get one 50% off. I bought 4 packages 2 of them rang up at $6.99 and the other 2 rang up at $3.49. I used two BOGO coupons which took a total of $13.98 off, then I used two $2/1 coupons which took a total of $4.00 off.

My grand total for my second transaction was $4.31! 

(I saved 76% on this transaction which means I only paid 24% of the retail cost.)
