Stretching Your Dollar$

Stretching Your Dollar$

Wednesday

Welcome Walmart Readers!

(I had 10 newspapers worth of Coupon Inserts to cut Sunday (5 of mine & 5 of my parents) and it only took me 1 hour to pull my inserts, cut them all out, and file them in my binder. Above is how many coupons I had just from my Sunday papers. It does not take a lot of time if you just cut all the coupons.)

*If you are new to using coupons or just getting started you will want to check out my Getting Started Tab. It will also help you get started if you just signed up for the extra Sundays newspaper deal.

*If you signed up for the newspaper deal and got a starter binder the least expensive place to buy the baseball card protector sheets is at a craft store when they are offering either a 40% off or 50% off coupon. Watch for these coupons in Sunday's paper. Most craft stores will accept competitors coupons as well. So if there is a 40% off Joann's coupon in Sunday's paper you can use it at Micheals or Craft Warehouse.

*You can see how I cut and organize my coupons each week by going here.

*If you are interested in taking my FREE coupon class you can read how here.

Broccoli Salad Recipe

*Can you eat healthy if you coupon????    YES
I made broccoli salad for lunch today and was able to get the broccoli for FREE out of my garden and all other items using coupons. I got my turkey bacon at Ridley's last night using a .75/1 coupon and doubler, got my coleslaw dressing free, and craisins free by using overage from a coupon deal.

Broccoli Salad Recipe

-Fresh Broccoli
-Coleslaw Dressing
-Craisins
-Turkey Bacon
-Diced Apples

-Just rinse your broccoli and cut into pieces in bowl. Add as much coleslaw dressing as you like, I like to give it a little coat. Then add your cooked turkey bacon, craisins, and diced apples and stir. You can also add cut red/purple onions and sunflower kernels to it. I did not have these on hand so I used what I already had at home. I added a few diced apples on top this time and it was delicious, my husband loved it!
